Giugiaro Architettura developed the new offices for Italgas in the southwestern area of Milan, most precisely in the "Il Parallelo" building in Via Carlo Bo.
In the area, totaling 3.500 square meters, Giugiaro Architettura created the correct mix between traditional and smart offices, designing modern spaces for management, operations, meetings, relax areas, co-working and micro-markets.
The directional area develops around the board meeting room, finished in irregular white laquered panels. The intertwining lines on the walls create a motif which is inspired by the concept of gas lines and the structure of gasometers.
This concept is also found on the glass walls of the single-unit offices for the managers, while the operative area is developed around a theme of horizontal lines on the glass walls and furniture, the latter also used as separator for better use of space and noise-insulation.
