Giugiaro Architettura, with Eshhar Holding, participated to the tender for the design of the Qatar Pavilion for Expo 2015 in Milano.
The structure of the roof symbolizes the sinuous shapes of desert dunes.
In these, green areas represent the continuous research of Qatar for new ways of agriculture development.

The tensile structure is a reminder of traditional arab tents.
The pavilion is surrounded by water, intended as sea and the basis of life.
The shape of the structure is evocative of sea waves.
